Job summary

Bluestone is seeking an experienced HSEQ Advisor to support its growing portfolio of commercial construction projects in Melbourne. You will work across office and active sites, partnering with project teams to uphold health, safety, environment and quality standards while driving practical compliance.

The successful candidate will bring at least five years in an HSEQ role, strong knowledge of Victorian WHS legislation, and relevant qualifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience in an HSEQ or safety role.
• Demonstrated experience working on commercial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of Victorian health and safety legislation.
• Working knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Support Site Managers and project teams with all HSEQ requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits and compliance reviews.
• Assist with project-specific safety, environmental and quality plans.
• Review SWMS, risk assessments, permits and subcontractor documentation
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes and manage corrective actions
• Coordinate inductions, toolbox talks and HSEQ training
• Monitor compliance with company systems, legislation and client requirements
• Maintain HSEQ registers, reports and project documentation
• Support continuous improvement across the company's integrated management system
• Promote a positive and proactive safety culture across all projects

Working across both the office and active construction sites, you will partner with project teams to maintain high standards of health, safety, environment and quality. About You

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Current driver’s licence
