Job summary

Fulton Hogan is hiring an experienced HSE Advisor to deliver health and safety leadership within our Utilities delivery team on the City of Gold Coast program. You will steer risk assessments, champion safe practices, and collaborate with internal teams and contractors to ensure compliance and ongoing improvement.

Qualifications

• Relevant WHS qualification (Cert IV or higher).
• Minimum 5+ years' experience in the construction industry, exposure to water/wastewater infrastructure; mechanical/electrical infrastructure desirable.
• ICAM Lead Investigator and First Aid certificate desirable.
• Proven ability to engage, coach and foster relationships at all levels of the organisation.
• WHS and Injury Management experience & thorough understanding of WHS legislation.
• Adopting and driving Fulton Hogan's Living Safely 2.0 Culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide health and safety advice, technical guidance and leadership in line with company systems and processes
• Lead and support risk assessments for project activities in collaboration with internal teams and subcontractors
• Act as the site custodian for the safety management system, ensuring effective implementation and compliance
• Support project teams with HSE administration, including audits and inspections to ensure alignment with business, client and legislative requirements
• Implement and maintain injury prevention and risk reduction strategies on nominated projects
• Conduct incident investigations as required and facilitate the sharing of lessons learned to improve safety performance.

We wish to complement our existing Fulton Hogan Utilities team with an experienced HSE Advisor to join our 10 year program of works for the City of Gold Coast. In this role you'll be responsible for:

How you'll connect to the role:

• Relevant Qualification in WHS (minimum Cert IV)

• ICAM lead Investigator (desirable) and Current First Aid certificate
• Proven ability to engage, coach and foster relationships at all levels of an organisation
• Quality / Safety Internal Auditor (desirable)
• WHS and Injury Management experience & thorough understanding of WHS legislation
