Job summary

McConnell Dowell is seeking a capable and proactive Health, Safety and Environment Administrator (HSE) to join our team supporting a major civil infrastructure project in metropolitan Adelaide. Reporting to the Project Health and Safety Manager, you’ll provide day-to-day administrative support across HSE activities, maintain records, and help deliver on HSE reporting and campaigns.

Qualifications

• Previous administration experience, ideally within construction, infrastructure or a project environment.
• Experience with HammerTech or similar HSE systems is highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and data management and proficient Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage competing priorities independently.
• A proactive, hands-on approach and interest in developing HSE knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage the project’s HammerTech HSE platform, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Assist with weekly and monthly HSE reporting, including data entry and statistics.
• Support the preparation of project reports, presentations and HSE documentation.
• Coordinate HSE campaigns, initiatives, events, meetings and communications.
• Provide general administrative support to the HSE team as the project progresses into delivery.
