Martian Logic Pty is seeking a payroll-savvy professional to drive pre-sales engagement with mid-market organisations in Australia. You will showcase payroll capabilities and compliance features, translating HRIS needs into compelling business cases for HR and finance decision-makers.

You will collaborate with sales to position payroll as a competitive advantage, supporting proposals and demonstrations with deep payroll insights. This is a permanent full-time role based in Australia.

Qualifications

• Strong payroll knowledge and experience with HRIS systems.
• Ability to translate complex HRIS requirements for non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in pre-sales, sales support, or customer-facing payroll roles.
• Solid understanding of Australian payroll compliance, awards, and STP.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-sales activities by providing payroll and compliance expertise to prospects evaluating our HRIS platform.
• Articulate how Australian compliance capabilities address client needs in awards, STP, and screening integration.
• Collaborate with the sales team to position payroll as a competitive advantage in deals.
• Contribute payroll insights to strengthen proposals and demonstrations to prospective clients.

About The Role

This is a permanent full-time position where you will leverage your payroll expertise to drive pre-sales engagement with mid-market organisations. You will position Martian Logic's payroll capabilities and compliance features to prospects, translating complex HRIS requirements into compelling business cases that resonate with HR and finance decision-makers.

• Support pre-sales activities by providing payroll and compliance expertise to prospects evaluating our HRIS platform
• Articulate how our Australian compliance capabilities address client needs in awards, Single Touch Payroll, and screening integration
• Collaborate with the sales team to position payroll as a competitive advantage in deal progression
• Contribute payroll insights to strengthen proposals and demonstrations to prospective clients

What We Are Looking For

• Strong payroll knowledge and experience, ideally with HRIS systems or payroll software
• Ability to communicate payroll and compliance concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
• Experience in pre-sales, sales support, or customer-facing payroll roles
• Demonstrated understanding of Australian payroll compliance, awards, and Single Touch Payroll
• Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills

What We Offer

• Base salary $130,000 to $160,000 plus superannuation
• On-target earnings (OTE) of $190,000 to $230,000 including commission
• 10 days paid personal/carer's leave per year
• Paid parental leave of 2 weeks from the birth of a child
