Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking a highly organised and systems-focused P&C HRIS (Workday & SAP) Coordinator to join our People & Culture team. You will administer, maintain and improve our HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and delivering exceptional end-user support across the business.

Reporting to the P&C Systems Manager, you will work with Workday and SAP, develop reports and dashboards, support integrations and payroll data, and contribute to system projects and process

Qualifications

• Experience in HRIS, HR Operations or People & Culture systems.
• Experience with Workday and/or SAP.
• Strong data management, reporting and analytics.
• Advanced Excel skills.

We are seeking a highly organised and systems-focused P&C HRIS (Workday & SAP) Coordinator to join our People & Culture team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with HR technology, data integrity, process improvement, and delivering outstanding support to stakeholders across the business.

About the Role:

Reporting to the P&C Systems Manager, you will play a critical role in the administration, maintenance and continuous improvement of our HR systems, primarily Workday and SAP. You will ensure employee data accuracy, support system processes and integrations, provide end-user assistance, and contribute to projects that enhance the employee experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintain accurate employee and organisational data across Workday and SAP.
• Process and audit employee lifecycle transactions, including hires, transfers, promotions, organisational changes and terminations.
• Support Workday and SAP system administration, testing, upgrades and enhancements.
• Troubleshoot HRIS issues and provide timely support to managers, employees and People & Culture stakeholders.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of HR reports, dashboards and data analytics.
• Support payroll and finance teams through accurate data management and system integration activities.
• Participate in HR system projects, process improvements and change initiatives.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, user guides and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, governance requirements and data privacy obligations.

To be successful, you will have:

• Previous experience in an HRIS, HR Operations, HR Coordinator or People & Culture systems role.
• Experience working with Workday and/or SAP systems.
• Strong data management, reporting and analytical skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
