Job summary

Goodwin Aged Care in Canberra seeks a People and Culture Systems Specialist who combines HR systems expertise with strong data analytics. You will enhance workforce information, streamline processes, and deliver insights for decision-making across People and Culture.

You will administer and improve our HRIS (ELMO), develop reports and dashboards, and collaborate with ICT, Payroll and external providers to ensure compliant, efficient systems and workflows.

Qualifications

• HR systems administration and data analytics experience.
• At least two years in HR or Payroll.
• Experience administering HRIS and improving processes.
• Advanced Excel skills with ability to produce clear insights.
• Understanding of enterprise agreements and modern awards.
• Strong problem-solving, organisational and communication skills.
• Experience with ELMO, Power BI and Qualtrics is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HR systems configurations, user access, workflows and testing; coordinate enhancements.
• Analyse headcount, turnover, vacancies, leave and compliance data; produce reports and dashboards.
• Improve workflows through automation and appropriate AI functionality.
• Audit employee records, monitor clearances, work rights and registrations; provide alerts.
• Document requirements; test changes; resolve data discrepancies in integrations.
• Monitor probation reviews, appraisals and employment changes; translate award requirements into settings.
• Provide user training and maintain procedures and guides.
• Support surveys, uniforms ordering and staff recognition processes.
