Job summary

Employment Hero is hiring an Implementation Consultant to lead end-to-end HR and Payroll platform implementations for our clients. You will gather requirements, configure systems, and ensure compliance with Australian and New Zealand payroll and labour laws, while acting as the primary client contact.

This remote-first role requires strong communication, multi-client management, training delivery, and cross-functional collaboration with SMEs, project coordinators, and technical teams to deliver

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Australian Payroll legislation and Australian payroll processing.
  • 2+ years of combined experience in HR or Payroll implementations.
  • Exposure to other HR or payroll software and system configurations.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously, meeting critical deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and educate clients.
  • Experience delivering customer training and providing technical support is highly regarded.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.

This role

The Implementation Consultant plays a key role in our Customer Experience Delivery teams, responsible for the end-to-end implementation of the Employment Hero platform. This includes both HR and Payroll modules. As the primary contact for customers, you will guide them through the implementation process by gathering requirements, configuring the platform(s), and ensuring compliance with legislative standards. There are multiple positions (3) available.

Your Key Focus Areas Will Be
  • Ensuring that Payroll systems meet the requirements of Fair Work and National Employment Standards in Australia, as well as the corresponding legislative standards in New Zealand. You will also ensure that clients adhere to all relevant labour laws, providing guidance on compliance with payroll tax, leave entitlements, superannuation, and other statutory obligations.
  • Helping and guiding our customers through our interactive training process. Many of our customers are not experts in Payroll and/or HR, and you will be managing many portfolios at any one time, so to be successful in this role, you will need to communicate effectively, influence stakeholders, and prioritise tasks to drive great outcomes.
This Will Include The Following

  • Root Cause Analysis: Perform detailed analysis and provide recommendations to optimise the platform’s functionality to meet client expectations.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, focusing on high customer satisfaction and engagement.
  • Legislative Compliance: Ensure clients are educated on relevant HR and payroll legislation, such as Australian and New Zealand labour laws, and help them configure their platforms accordingly.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously review and enhance our implementation processes to improve efficiency and client outcomes.
