Job summary

Construction Sciences is seeking an organised HR administrator to support onboarding, offboarding and general HR administration across Australia, with some NZ involvement. The role is full-time and based in Albion, Brisbane, with the office relocating to Milton in November 2026.

You will handle offers, records, processes and internal stakeholder coordination. This busy, deadline-driven environment values initiative, reliability and clear communication.

Qualifications

• No HR degree required; practical administrative experience accepted.
• Organised with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to handle confidential information.
• Ability to take initiative, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
• Experience in administration, sales support, coordination or customer service is suitable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare employment offers and communicate with new starters.
• Process electronic reference checks with minimal follow-up.
• Provide administration support across the employee lifecycle.
• Manage employment variations and employee offboarding processes.
• Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS and personnel files.
• Coordinate with Payroll, ICT, Quality, Finance and other internal teams on HR transactions.
• Respond to employee and manager enquiries via the internal Service Desk.
• Assist People Services leadership with HR administration and processes.
• Support annual salary review processes.
