Prestige Talent Solutions is seeking an HR/L&D Advisor for a national retail business. You will provide hands-on HR support while coordinating and delivering learning initiatives to build capability across a multi-site workforce.

You will work with managers and stakeholders across the organisation, own projects, and drive improvements in onboarding, performance and development, with opportunities for career progression and employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HR advisory, HR generalist or L&D roles.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment laws and practices.
• Experience coordinating learning and development initiatives.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with stakeholders.
• Experience in retail, multi-site environments is advantageous.

About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR / L&D professional looking for a varied role that combines hands‑on HR support with learning and development.

You'll work closely with managers and stakeholders across the business, providing practical HR support while also coordinating and delivering learning initiatives that build capability across the workforce.

You'll have genuine ownership of projects, the opportunity to build strong stakeholder relationships and the ability to see the direct impact of your work.

What you’ll be doing

• Provide day‑to‑day HR advice and support to managers and employees
• Support employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, performance, development and engagement
• Coordinate learning and development programs across the business
• Work with stakeholders to identify training and capability needs
• Coordinate training sessions, schedules, attendance and reporting
• Support the development of training materials and learning resources
• Support HR projects, people initiatives and continuous improvement
• Prepare HR and L&D reports, documentation and communications
• Build strong relationships with managers and key stakeholders

About you

• Previous experience in an HR Advisor, HR Generalist, L&D Advisor or similar role
• Strong understanding of HR fundamentals and the Australian employment landscape
• Experience coordinating learning and development initiatives
• Confident communicating and building relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• Proactive, solutions-focused and comfortable taking ownership
• Experience within retail, multi-site or high-volume environments will be highly regarded
