Job summary

JobFitts Consultants is seeking an experienced People Advisor to support a national retail network on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will partner with People & Culture Business Partners and senior leaders to deliver practical HR guidance across employee relations, lifecycle activities, HR systems and people initiatives.

Key duties include advising store leaders, managing employee relations, onboarding and lifecycle processes, HRIS administration, and contributing to projects using

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an HR, People & Culture or HR Advisory role.
• Experience in retail or multi-site environment is desirable.
• Strong understanding of HR processes, employment legislation, employee relations and HR policies.
• Confident providing advice to leaders and employees at different levels.
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Commercial mindset with an understanding of how people initiatives support business outcomes.
• Experience with HRIS platforms, particularly Dayforce.
• Interest in using technology and AI to improve people processes is advantageous.

• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes through technology and AI-enabled solutions.
