This in-office, consultative role partners with Senior Business Development Managers to diagnose client workforce challenges and deliver practical, legally compliant HR guidance.

You will think quickly, ask insightful questions, and provide strategic value through real-time coaching and tailored solutions for ANZ businesses.

About the Role

Our Pre-Client Services team is expanding. We are seeking an agile, commercially minded HR Generalist to act as the subject matter expert on prospective client calls.

In this unique consultative role, you will partner directly with our senior Business Development Managers as a dedicated technical expert. When prospective clients face complex workforce challenges, you will step in to diagnose their compliance risks, deliver immediate, practical HR guidance, and demonstrate the strategic value of our professional advisory services.

You will be someone who can think quickly, ask deep questions and provide guidance where required.

What a typical day looks like:

• Partnering with BDMs to provide real-time, expert HR insights during prospective client consultations.
• Thinking on your feet to dissect complex workplace issues and offer simple, practical, and legally compliant solutions.
• Conducting deep-dive discussions with business owners to understand and support with their pain points.
• Working collaboratively in a high-energy, in-office team environment to hit collective growth targets.

What we are looking for:

• A minimum of 2+ years of generalist experience with a thorough, practical understanding of the Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards (NES).
• You know how to use your HR expertise to influence, build rapport, and demonstrate commercial value.
• Exceptional verbal skills with the ability to simplify complex legislation into actionable, practical advice.
• Someone who thrives under pressure, thinks quickly, and loves solving problems in real-time.
