Job summary

Linfox Intermodal in Mackay, QLD is seeking an experienced HR Driver for a permanent full-time role, working Monday to Friday from 5:00am to 1:00pm. You will safely deliver freight across the local region, provide outstanding service to customers, and uphold Linfox safety standards on every shift.

Eligible candidates must hold a current HR Licence and have prior experience with Heavy Rigid vehicles in the transport/logistics sector, along with a strong safety mindset and reliable work ethic.

Qualifications

• Current HR Licence & prior experience operating Heavy Rigid vehicles.
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
• Proven ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive HR vehicles for local pickup and delivery across Mackay region.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and CoR compliance.
• Ensure freight is loaded, secured and transported safely.
• Assist with unloading/loading as required.

What does the job look like?

At Linfox Intermodal, we keep Australia moving. We have a permanent, full-time opportunity for an experienced HR Driver to join our team based in Mackay, QLD. Working Monday to Friday from 5:00am to 1:00pm, you'll play a key role in safely delivering freight across the local region while providing outstanding service to our customers. Key areas:

• Driving the commitment to Linfox Safety Standards at all times and ensuring Vision Zero remains a daily focus
• Safely operating HR vehicles to complete local pickup and delivery activities across Townsville and surrounding areas
• Providing professional and reliable customer service while representing both Linfox and our customers
• Ensuring freight is loaded, secured and transported safely in line with compliance requirements
• Maintaining accurate delivery documentation and adhering to Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements
• Assist with unloading/loading requirements as required
