Job summary

Linfox Intermodal in Townsville, QLD, is seeking an experienced HR Driver for a casual role. You will safely deliver freight across Townsville and nearby areas while providing outstanding service to customers.

Key duties include operating HR vehicles, securing loads, completing delivery documentation in line with CoR requirements, and assisting with loading/unloading as needed. A current HR licence and a strong safety mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Current HR Licence & prior experience operating Heavy Rigid vehicles within the Transport/Logistics industry.
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance.
• Proven ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable work ethic with a positive, team-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Drive HR vehicles to complete local pickup and delivery activities in Townsville and surrounding areas.
• Safely operate HR vehicles and ensure freight is loaded, secured and transported in line with CoR requirements.
• Provide professional and reliable customer service while representing Linfox and our customers.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and adhere to Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.
• Assist with unloading/loading requirements as required.

What does the job look like?

At Linfox Intermodal, we keep Australia moving. We have a casual opportunity for an experienced HR Driver to join our team based in Townsville, QLD. Working Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 2:00pm, you'll play a key role in safely delivering freight across the local region while providing outstanding service to our customers. Key areas:

• Driving the commitment to Linfox Safety Standards at all times and ensuring Vision Zero remains a daily focus
• Safely operating HR vehicles to complete local pickup and delivery activities across Townsville and surrounding areas
• Providing professional and reliable customer service while representing both Linfox and our customers
• Ensuring freight is loaded, secured and transported safely in line with compliance requirements
• Maintaining accurate delivery documentation and adhering to Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements
• Assist with unloading/loading requirements as required
