Job summary

Linfox is seeking an HR truck driver for a casual day position based in Willawong, QLD. You will transport ambient and some chilled products from our central distribution hub to retail destinations across Brisbane, operating a modern Volvo fleet with up to three deliveries per day. Yard work may be required.

We value safety, strong customer service, and a proactive mindset. Applicants must hold a current HR license with a safe-work history and be familiar with the Brisbane metro area and manual

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Brisbane metro area & surrounding regions north & south.
• Familiarity with manual handling.

Responsibilities

• Drive ambient and some chilled products from Willawong hub to Brisbane retail destinations.
• Operate automatic Volvo trucks; complete up to three deliveries per day.
• Occasional yard work; comply with Linfox safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and professional representation.
• Adhere to Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation.

What does the job look like?

Linfox’s Consumer and Healthcare Group business unit is actively seeking an HR truck driver to transport ambient and some chilled products from our central distribution hub in Willawong, to retail destinations across Brisbane and surrounding regions. As a key part of this role, you will operate our modern fleet of automatic Volvo trucks, completing up to three deliveries per day. Minimal manual handling may be required at times. This is a casual day position, Monday to Friday (5am) and based in Willawong. Key Areas:

• Driving the commitment to Linfox Safety Standards at all times, and ensuring that Vision Zero is a daily focus
• Complying with the Linfox coupling & uncoupling procedures
• Maneuvering of side curtains
• Providing excellent customer service and representing Linfox in a professional manner
• Good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and road transport legislation
• Yard work where required
