Ambulance Victoria seeks an Advisor Human Resources (Part Time 0.45FTE) to deliver professional HR services, advice and guidance on policies and employment legislation. Based in Blackburn North with hybrid/WFH options, the role reports to the Senior People Partner and supports managers and staff across AV in a dynamic, public-sector setting.

The ideal candidate will hold a tertiary HR qualification and have extensive experience in HR practices, change management and employee relations,

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior general or specialist HR role, preferably across the public sector with demonstrated ability to adapt theoretical knowledge and lead change across a large organisation
• Extensive knowledge of HR practices, regulations and legislation; experience in conflict resolution, grievances and performance management
• Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsabilités

• Provide professional HR services across AV including advice, support, guidance and analysis on policies and employment legislation
• Coach, counsel and support managers and employees on employment matters, including workplace conflict, grievances and performance management
• Provide HR expertise and recommendations to support projects and organisational initiatives
• Develop and implement communication and consultation strategies to keep stakeholders informed and engaged throughout projects
