Job summary

HR Staff n' Stuff in Melbourne is seeking an HR Professional to provide practical, down-to-earth HR support to a range of private clients (15–100 staff). You will work embedded at client premises and also from home, applying hands-on people management experience and solid HR/IR knowledge.

The role is varied and rewarding: manage teams, advise on HR/IR matters, contribute to recruitment projects, and create customised HR documents.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience managing teams (not HR teams) and understanding people and operational issues in businesses.
• Excellent HR skills and some IR knowledge.
• Creative ideas and practical, direct advice.

Responsibilities

• Embedded HR Advisor at client premises.
• Provide HR and IR advice via phone, email and face-to-face.
• Lead recruitment projects for clients.
• Create customised HR documents (contracts, position descriptions, policies, letters, performance improvement plans).
