Job summary

Australian Broadcasting Corporation is seeking an experienced HR Adviser to join the People & Culture team. You will provide practical HR advice to managers across the News Division, manage generalist HR matters, and support organisational change initiatives.

Working with Senior HR Advisers and HR Business Partners, you’ll escalate complex HR enquiries, ensure policy consistency and contribute to business priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy, generalist HR environment.
• Ability to provide practical HR advice to managers.
• Knowledge of employment legislation and HR practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical HR guidance to managers across employee relations and performance.
• Support organisational change initiatives with consultation and communication.
• Handle HR enquiries escalated from the HR Helpdesk and ensure policy consistency.
• Advise managers on HR policies, procedures and enterprise agreement requirements.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the News Division to support HR needs.
• Contribute to HR projects that improve people processes.
