Job summary

Stellar Recruitment AU and NZ in Sydney NSW is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join its People & Culture team. You will support senior HR leaders with practical HR advice across a diverse workforce and partner closely with leaders on a broad range of people matters.

This generalist role covers workforce planning, talent initiatives, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, and day-to-day HR support to ensure a positive employee experience across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience in an HR Advisor or generalist role.
• Strong understanding of the employee lifecycle.
• Exposure to employee relations including performance management and workplace matters.
• Knowledge of Australian employment legislation.
• Experience in construction or similar operational environments is valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical HR advice and support to leaders and employees.
• Support activities across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, development, workforce movements and offboarding.
• Assist with workforce planning and resourcing requirements.
• Coach leaders through performance, conduct and people matters.
• Support employee and industrial relations activities, including investigations where required.
• Contribute to recruitment, talent and learning initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, policies and procedures.
• Support broader People & Culture projects and initiatives.
