Job summary

ACECQA is seeking a Human Resources Adviser to deliver and support a range of HR services and initiatives across the organisation, with a focus on workforce capability, employee engagement and organisational performance.

You will work closely with managers and HR teams to implement people initiatives, manage performance, recruitment, learning and development, and ensure compliance with Australian employment laws.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in HR, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience in an HR advisory or generalist role.
• Experience providing HR advice and support for performance management, workforce capability, recruitment, learning and development.
• Experience supporting employee relations matters, including workplace complaints, performance management and workplace conduct matters.
• Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and contemporary HR practices.
• Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships and provide practical support to managers and employees.
• Experience coordinating learning and development activities and workforce capability programs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to prepare reports and recommendations.
• Organisational skills to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Analytical skills to interpret workforce information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, HR information systems, learning management systems and electronic documents management systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and support a range of HR services, projects and initiatives to support ACECQA operations.
• Work closely with managers, employees and HR teams to enhance workforce capability, engagement and performance.
• Implement people initiatives, workforce planning and employee relations activities.
