Job summary

Civic Disability Services in Sydney is seeking an organized Human Resources Administrator to support the People & Experience team across the full employee lifecycle. The role focuses on delivering high-quality administrative support, maintaining records, onboarding, contracts, and HR communications.

Reporting to the Senior HR Advisor, you will help with pre-employment checks, payroll setup liaison, compliance checks, and HR reporting, while maintaining confidentiality and building strong

Qualifications

  • Experience in an administration role with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with HRIS, payroll or rostering systems (desirable).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative and customer-focused approach.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems
  • Coordinate pre-employment checks, onboarding and inductions
  • Prepare employment contracts, variations and HR correspondence
  • Monitor compliance requirements, including probity checks and training
  • Manage HR enquiries and support timely responses
  • Process employee movements, promotions and exits
  • Assist with HR reporting, audits and people initiatives
  • Support performance review and employee engagement activities
  • Liaise with internal teams regarding payroll setup and equipment for new starters

We're looking for an organised and people-focused Human Resources Administrator who wants to make a meaningful contribution within a values-led, not-for-profit organisation.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Reporting to the Senior Human Resources Advisor, you'll play a key role in delivering a positive employee experience across the full employment lifecycle. You'll provide high-quality administrative support across the People & Experience function, ensuring HR processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
