Job summary

Total Metering Services (TMS) is seeking an experienced HR Administrator to join the HR team and support recruitment, onboarding and general HR administration across multiple locations.

Reporting to the HR Coordinator, you will conduct high volumes of recruitment calls, screen candidates and coordinate interviews, contracts and onboarding documentation.

You will maintain records, use SEEK/LinkedIn, and work independently within a supportive team to build TMS's workforce.

Qualifications

  • 2–3+ years' experience in recruitment, HR administration or a similar role.
  • Experience with SEEK, LinkedIn or similar recruitment platforms.
  • Experience recruiting field service personnel, technicians or trades is highly regarded.
  • HR qualifications or relevant study are desirable.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, time management and attention to detail.
  • Strong administration, data entry and document management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple vacancies and onboarding requirements simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct a high volume of recruitment calls to attract and engage potential employees and subcontractors for current and future opportunities.
  • Support recruitment across multiple vacancies, including application review, shortlisting, candidate sourcing and recruitment records.
  • Source and contact candidates through SEEK, LinkedIn, recruitment databases and other platforms.
  • Conduct initial phone screenings and first-stage interviews and assist with coordinating further interviews.
  • Contact and follow up potential employees and subcontractors, maintaining accurate records and communication.
  • Support successful applicants by sending contracts and onboarding documentation and following up completion.
  • Follow up required pre-employment and compliance documents.
  • Prepare new starters for commencement by ensuring documentation and requirements are complete.
  • Maintain accurate candidate and employee records, spreadsheets, reports and personnel files.
  • Assist with job advertisements, reference checks, recruitment reporting and general HR administration.
  • Liaise with the HR team and relevant departments to ensure new starters are ready for induction and commencement.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and organised HR Administrator to join our HR team.

Reporting to the HR Coordinator, you will support recruitment, onboarding and general HR administration across multiple locations and workforce requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct a high volume of recruitment calls to attract and engage potential employees and subcontractors for current and future opportunities, while building strong professional rapport.

Support recruitment across multiple vacancies, including application review, shortlisting, candidate sourcing and recruitment records.

Source and contact candidates through SEEK, LinkedIn, recruitment databases and other platforms.

Conduct initial phone screenings and first-stage interviews and assist with coordinating further interviews.

Contact and follow up potential employees and subcontractors, maintaining accurate records and communication.

Support successful applicants by sending contracts and onboarding documentation and following up completion.

About You

2–3+ years' experience in recruitment, HR administration or a similar role.

Highly confident and comfortable on the phone, with the ability to manage and conduct a high volume of recruitment calls and engage professionally with candidates and subcontractors.

Experience with phone screening, initial interviews, recruitment administration and onboarding.

Experience using SEEK, LinkedIn or similar recruitment platforms.

Strong candidate sourcing, engagement and follow-up skills.

Experience recruiting field service personnel, technicians or trades is highly regarded.

HR qualifications or relevant study are desirable.

Excellent communication, organisation, time management and attention to detail.

Strong administration, data entry and document management skills.

Ability to manage multiple vacancies and onboarding requirements simultaneously.

Proactive, reliable and confident working independently and as part of an HR team.

High level of confidentiality and professionalism when handling employee information.
