Job summary

Hollywood Earthmoving Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated HR professional to manage the full employee lifecycle within a growing civil earthworks business in Central Queensland. You will recruit, onboard, maintain records and support compliance, training and performance reviews.

Join a locally owned, supportive team and help shape policies, procedures and workplace relations across projects in the rail and earthworks sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil, earthmoving, construction, mining or similar industry highly regarded.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to handle sensitive conversations.
• Professional, approachable and fair; able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full employee lifecycle from recruitment to exit.
• Recruitment, interviewing and onboarding of new employees.
• Maintain employee records, contracts and HR documentation.
• Coordinate staff inductions, training, licences and competency records.
• Manage probation periods and performance reviews.
• Assist with employee relations, workplace concerns and disciplinary matters.
• Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures.
• Support workplace health, safety and compliance requirements.
• Assist with leave, attendance and employee entitlements.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and company information.
• Work closely with management and supervisors to maintain a positive and professional workplace.
• Ensure HR processes are consistent, fair and compliant with Australian workplace requirements.
