We are currently seeking an HR/IR Manager who will establish and implement policies, systems, and processes to support best practices in cost-focused HR/IR delivery. Key responsibilities
  • Implementing and administering approved IR and HR policies and programs, ensuring that business practices comply with relevant standards, legislation, and company policy.
  • Drive a proactive, IR/HR focus across the project and support the development, implementation and maintenance of effective strategies, initiatives and "best practice" processes, procedures and systems aligned with positive construction project outcomes.
  • Maintain a proactive and regular presence on the Project site.
  • Champion and lead the implementation of the DTI policy and procedural environment at the project level.
  • Maintain a Leadership role on the project in regard to key Workforce Management practices, including managing resources in accordance with the approved Project Histogram.
  • Provide leadership, management and governance regarding project mobilisation, induction and demobilisation activities associated with the workforce plan.
  • Lead and manage the full suite of HR/IR activities for the Project inclusive of individual case management review and management of subcontractor ER/IR.
  • Oversee and manage the delivery of workforce development / social impact outcomes on the Project.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Must have a Bachelor of Human Resources and/ or Business and or Higher degree qualifications.
  • Must have proven experience in IR and HR in a similar role.
  • Must have experience working for a tier 1 construction company in an IR/HR Manager capacity.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders/clients to support delivery and create business value.
  • Demonstrates ability to build and maintain a wide knowledge and understanding of the business environment and strategies, translating these into specific IR / HR tactics and actions.
