Uniting Vic.Tas in Ballarat is seeking a Mental Health Worker to provide recovery‑oriented psychosocial support to people facing mental health challenges and homelessness. You will help clients access, secure and sustain stable housing across the Central Highlands region, working with established clinical connections in community and mental health services.

The role involves timely responses to clients requiring mental health treatment, with SCHADS Level 5 hourly rate and super.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma or equivalent in welfare/social work.
• Experience delivering evidence-based mental health treatments.
• Knowledge of Mental Health Act and homelessness services.

• Provide recovery-oriented psychosocial support to people experiencing mental health challenges and homelessness.
• Promote wellbeing, independence and social inclusion.
• Assist clients to access, secure and maintain stable housing through Housing First models.
