Job summary

Uniting Victoria and Tasmania is seeking a Journey to Social Inclusion Peer Settlement Support Worker in Ballarat. You will work with clients who have experienced homelessness, drawing on lived experience to help them access housing and community connections.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in community services or equivalent.
• Diploma qualifications with outstanding experience may be considered.
• Valid driver licence to drive in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Provide connection to community for clients.
• Assist clients in establishing a home and routine.
• Support clients to build daily living skills.
• Offer emotional support and advocacy.
• Help clients transition from homelessness to housed status.
• Support return to work or study.
