Job summary

Mission Australia seeks an Operations Manager in Toowoomba to lead Housing Services, Asset Services and Community Development. Based in Toowoomba, you will build a multidisciplinary team, oversee day-to-day operations, and drive service excellence across housing and community programs.

You will manage budgets, monitor KPIs and foster partnerships with government and community organisations, ensuring compliant, high-quality service delivery in a fast-paced not-for-profit environment.

Qualifications

• Proven operational leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience delivering high-quality customer and community outcomes.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and performance measurement skills.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement across government and community sectors.
• Knowledge of housing, community services or asset management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Housing Services, Asset Services and Community Development operations to deliver tenant and community outcomes.
• Provide coaching and development to a multidisciplinary team.
• Monitor KPIs, implement improvements and ensure service excellence.
• Manage operational budgets, forecasting and resource planning.
• Build strategic partnerships with government agencies, funders and community organisations.
• Ensure compliance with governance and risk management requirements.
• Use data and evidence-based practices to inform service design and improvement.
