Job summary

SRG Hospitality in Sydney is seeking two detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Members to join our expanding boutique hotel operations. This entry-level, part-time contract role focuses on delivering guest-ready spaces, from servicing rooms to maintaining public areas, with a strong emphasis on quality and guest experience.

You will work a casual roster up to 24 hours per week, with award rates under the Hospitality Industry General Award 2020, plus 25% casual loading, weekend/public holiday

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel housekeeping preferred.
• Physical fitness and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Guest room servicing to a consistent, detailed standard.
• Linen and amenities management including offsite laundry prep.
• Public area maintenance across corridors, lifts, and common spaces.

• Adhering to chemical handling, manual handling, and WHS guidelines.
• Support teammates to keep operations running smoothly.

What You'll Be Doing

• Guest room servicing — Servicing departure and stay-over rooms to a consistent, detailed standard.
• Linen & amenities management — Stripping beds and preparing linen for offsite laundry collection, while restocking linen and guest amenities accurately.
• Public area maintenance — Keeping corridors, lifts, and common guest areas clean, presentable, and welcoming.
• Reporting & quality control — Promptly reporting maintenance issues and lost property to keep room inventory in prime condition.
• Safety execution — Working safely by adhering strictly to chemical handling, manual handling, and WHS guidelines.
• Team-first execution — Supporting teammates instinctively to keep operations running smoothly across the property.

• Experience & detail — Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred, with a sharp eye for detail and pride in your work.
• Physical capability — Reliability and strong physical fitness, as this role involves being active and on your feet throughout shifts.
• Compliance — Full working rights in Australia.
• Flexibility — Availability for rostered shifts across the week, including weekends and public holidays.
