Job summary

SRG Hospitality is seeking a Duty Manager to lead floor operations across our venues in NSW. You will drive guest experiences, oversee shifts, ensure compliance, and model service excellence on a fast-paced floor.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing hospitality floor operations.
• Current NSW RSA certification and knowledge of liquor regulations.
• Willingness to obtain RCG or related compliance qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Guest experience & floor support across shifts.
• Operational support in bar, bistro, gaming, events.
• Lead front‑of‑house staff on shift and assist training.
• Ensure RSA, licensing, WHS compliance and incident reporting.
• Support labour efficiency, stock control, and costs during peak service.
• Provide proactive, team‑first leadership to keep service flowing.

What You'll Be Doing

• Guest experience & floor support - Supporting the smooth running of shifts across all operational areas, delivering a welcoming and high-quality guest experience, and handling guest escalations.
• Operational support - Assisting in daily operations across bar, bistro, gaming, and event spaces, ensuring service readiness and smooth shift handovers.
• Team leadership - Providing clear direction to front-of-house staff on shift, leading by example, and assisting in training and developing team members.
• Compliance & safety - Following RSA, liquor licensing, gaming regulations, and WHS requirements, while supporting incident management and reporting.
• Commercial awareness - Supporting labor efficiency, stock control, and operational standards while managing costs effectively during peak service.
• Team-first execution - Stepping in early, sharing the load, and keeping service flowing seamlessly across the venue.

Who We're Looking For

• Leadership experience - Previous experience as a Duty Manager, Supervisor, or Team Leader within high-volume hospitality environments.
• Operational confidence - Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and the composure to manage fast-paced service periods.
• Compliance & qualifications - Current NSW RSA certification, RCG (or willingness to obtain), and a solid understanding of NSW liquor and gaming regulations.
• Mindset - A proactive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine ambition to step into senior leadership.
• Flexibility - Availability to work a rotating roster including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
