Hyatt Hotel Canberra is seeking a capable Team Leader - Housekeeping to support the Housekeeping Manager in maintaining exceptional cleanliness and presentation across guest rooms and floors. You will coordinate daily tasks, ensure prompt guest service, and uphold Hyatt's high standards in a heritage-inspired property.

Responsibilities

• The Team Leader - Housekeeping supports the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing the cleanliness and presentation of the hotel's guest rooms and floors.
• Help coordinate the team's daily work, maintain hotel standards and ensure guest requests are handled promptly.
• Ensure guest requests and special requirements are actioned promptly and accurately.
• Help prepare daily work allocations and lead briefings for housekeeping attendants.
• Inspect VIP rooms and conduct daily room checks to ensure they meet hotel standards.
• Help plan, organise and direct the team to support an efficient housekeeping operation.
• Monitor expenses, payroll, guest supplies, cleaning supplies and laundry use.
• Support the Housekeeping Manager with the day-to-day coordination of the department.
