Job summary

Silvershore Apartments on the Broadwater is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our small, friendly team and help lead day-to-day housekeeping operations at Biggera Waters on the Gold Coast.

This hands-on role involves training and guiding staff, conducting inspections, managing rosters, and maintaining high cleaning standards across the property. Flexible hours and a supportive team await the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years senior housekeeping experience in a hotel, resort or serviced apartment environment.
• Previous supervisory, team leader or senior housekeeper experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation.
• Confident training and guiding staff.
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently.
• Must have Australian work rights.

Responsibilities

• Work hands-on cleaning apartments alongside the team.
• Supervise and support casual housekeeping staff.
• Train new staff and ensure cleaning standards are met.
• Conduct room inspections and touch-ups as required.
• Assist with rosters, task allocation and daily planning.
• Liaise with management regarding staffing, maintenance issues and priorities.
• Assist with stock control (linen, amenities, cleaning supplies).
• Help with deep cleans when required.

Silvershore Apartments on the Broadwater is a well-maintained 4-star resort offering fully self-contained 1 and 2 bedroom apartments overlooking the beautiful Broadwater on the Gold Coast.

We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our small, friendly team and help lead day-to-day housekeeping operations.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys cleaning but also has the confidence to train, guide and support staff, and help maintain consistent standards across the property.

The Role

This position is ideal for someone looking for a step up from senior housekeeping into a supervisory role.

You will:

• Work hands-on cleaning apartments alongside the team

• Supervise and support casual housekeeping staff

• Train new staff and ensure cleaning standards are met

• Conduct room inspections and touch-ups as required

• Assist with rosters, task allocation and daily planning

• Liaise with management regarding staffing, maintenance issues and priorities

• Pay Rate: Competitive – based on experience

• Shifts generally 0800/0900 – 1400/1500

• 7-day rotating roster including some weekends
