You will coordinate daily duties, inspect completed work, and support staff while maintaining strong communication with reception and management. Weekend availability and reliability are important for busy holiday periods.

Housekeeping Supervisor – Holiday Apartments

We are looking for an experienced, reliable and motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in Biggera Waters.

This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who takes pride in maintaining high cleaning standards, works well in a fast‑paced environment and is confident supervising and supporting a housekeeping team.

As Housekeeping Supervisor, you will play an important role in ensuring our holiday apartments are cleaned, presented and ready for guests to a consistently high standard.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising and coordinating the daily housekeeping team
• Allocating apartments and daily cleaning duties to housekeeping staff
• Inspecting completed apartments prior to guest arrivals
• Ensuring apartments are presented to a high and consistent standard
• Identifying cleaning issues and arranging re‑cleans where required
• Assisting with apartment cleans when needed
• Monitoring linen, amenities and housekeeping supplies
• Reporting maintenance issues, damages or missing items to management
• Training and supporting new housekeeping staff
• Ensuring cleaners follow established procedures and presentation standards
• Helping coordinate busy changeover days and prioritising apartments based on arrivals
• Communicating closely with reception and management throughout the day
• Maintaining a positive, organised and productive housekeeping environment

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous housekeeping or professional cleaning experience
• Ideally has previous supervisory or team leader experience
• Has excellent attention to detail
• Takes pride in presenting apartments to a high standard
• Is reliable, punctual and well organised
• Is confident providing direction and feedback to team members
• Can work efficiently under pressure, particularly on busy changeover days
• Has good communication and problem‑solving skills
• Is physically capable of undertaking housekeeping duties
• Is available to work weekends and during busy holiday periods
• Can work both independently and as part of a team
• Experience within hotels, resorts, serviced apartments or holiday accommodation would be highly regarded.

This role is based in Biggera Waters, near Harbour Town.

Typical housekeeping hours are approximately 8:30am to 2:00pm, although hours may vary depending on occupancy and operational requirements.

Availability across 5–6 days per week, including weekends, is preferred. Our busiest housekeeping days generally include Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
