Job summary

Accor is seeking a proactive Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily operations, ensure cleanliness, and maintain guest satisfaction. You will supervise staff, manage inventories, and ensure health and safety compliance within our Adelaide property.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of supervisory experience in hotel housekeeping, strong coaching abilities, and proficiency with Oracle PMS. HubOS experience is a plus, and English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• English proficiency is essential.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a hotel housekeeping environment.
• Strong training and coaching skills to develop team members.
• Experience with Hotel Property Management Systems, specifically Oracle.
• Familiarity with HubOSHousekeeping Software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping staff, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance.
• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house areas to ensure cleanliness and quality standards.
• Train and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques and hotel policies.
• Manage housekeeping inventory, including linens, cleaning supplies, and equipment.
• Address guest complaints and resolve housekeeping-related issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including proper handling of chemicals.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall hotel operations and guest satisfaction.

• Experience with Hotel Property Management Systems, specifically Oracle.
• Familiarity with HubOSHousekeeping Software is a plus.

• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to clearly convey information and ideas to others.
• Quick decision-making ability, with a capacity to evaluate and choose the best course of action.

• Skilled at listening, understanding, and resolving concerns or issues raised by coworkers and guests.
• Capable of performing duties with attention to detail, efficiency, accuracy, and a cooperative attitude, with minimal supervision.
