Job summary

Pullman Adelaide, part of the Accor portfolio, is seeking a qualified chef to join our vibrant kitchen team and help craft memorable dining experiences overlooking Hindmarsh Square. You will prepare mis-en-place, create menu items, ensure stock rotation, and maintain cleanliness while upholding HACCP and food safety standards under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Minimum 1 year in a similar role, strong presentation, impeccable grooming, and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chef with Commercial Cookery Cert IV (AU or international equivalent)
• Minimum 1 year of proven experience in a similar role
• Strong food safety practices and HACCP understanding
• Genuine passion for food with high standards of production and presentation
• Excellent communication and grooming standards
• Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines

What you will be doing:

• Prepare mis-en place as required.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

• Qualified Chef (Commercial Cookery Cert IV or international equivalent trade recognized in AU)
• Minimum 1 year of proven experience in a similar role
• Sound understanding of Food Safety Practices. Modified Food Diet experience in a commercial kitchen environment is an advantage.
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for food and displaying very high standards of production and presentation
• You have a working understanding of and the ability to maintain food safety standards and HACCP.
• Have excellent communication
• You are impeccably groomed and presented.
• You have the capacity to multi task, cope well under pressure and are able to meet tight deadlines.
