Job summary

Pullman Adelaide, part of the Accor Hotels group, seeks a professional Chef to join our kitchen team. You will prepare mise en place, create exciting menu items, ensure stock rotation and minimize waste, and keep all areas clean while maintaining equipment.

Qualifications include a Commercial Cookery Cert IV or international equivalent, at least 1 year in a similar role, and strong knowledge of food safety and HACCP. Excellent communication and presentation are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chef with Commercial Cookery Cert IV or international equivalent recognized in AU.
• Minimum 1 year of proven experience in a similar role.
• Sound understanding of Food Safety Practices. HACCP knowledge.
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for food and high standards of production and presentation.
• Excellent communication and impeccable grooming.

What you will be doing:

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

• Qualified Chef (Commercial Cookery Cert IV or international equivalent trade recognized in AU)
• Minimum 1 year of proven experience in a similar role
• Sound understanding of Food Safety Practices. Modified Food Diet experiencein a commercial kitchen environment is an advantage.
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for food and displaying very high standards of production and presentation
• You have a working understanding of and the ability to maintain food safety standards and HACCP.
• Have excellent communication
• You are impeccably groomed and presented.
• You have the capacity to multi task, cope well under pressure and are able to meet tight deadlines.
