Job summary

Adelaide Meridien Hotel is seeking a full-time Housekeeping Manager to lead a dedicated team in delivering spotless, safe and welcoming spaces. You will work closely with the General Manager and Maintenance Manager to uphold high standards and guest satisfaction.

The role requires hands-on leadership, scheduling, budgeting, and a proactive approach to improving efficiency while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in housekeeping management within hospitality.
• Strong leadership, communication and time-management skills.
• Proven ability to manage schedules, training and rostering.
• Experience with budgeting and inventory control is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead housekeeping team, schedule, train and roster staff.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure seamless guest experience.
• Implement standards, drive productivity and growth of team.
• Procure supplies, manage inventory and control expenses to KPI targets.
• Ensure chemical safety, health and safety compliance for team.
• Track labour costs vs occupancy and conduct daily room inspections.
• Develop and implement housekeeping policies and reports in Opera/Flexkeeping.
• Investigate and resolve guest housekeeping complaints; drive improvements.
