Job summary

Mercure on the Gold Coast is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Attendant to maintain immaculate guest rooms and public areas. You will support the team with stock and cleaning tasks, uphold safety and presentation standards, and contribute to a welcoming guest experience.

Ideal candidates bring prior housekeeping experience, a positive team mindset, physical fitness, attention to detail, and a flexible approach to work across all days of the week in a fast-paced resort environment.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience.
• Knowledge of safe work practices in housekeeping.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced active role.
• Professional and tidy personal presentation.
• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
• Attention to detail and ability to take initiative.
• Flexibility to work across all days of the week.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to memorable, relaxing experiences for every guest.
• Cleaning guest rooms, bathrooms, making beds, and replenishing amenities.
• Supporting the Housekeeping team with stock replenishment and public area cleaning when required.
• Maintaining established standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Working in a fast-paced, physically active role.
• Supporting the wider resort team to provide heartfelt hospitality to all guests.
