Qualifications

• Proven supervisory or leadership experience in a hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations, guest services and hospitality standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
• Proficiency in hotel management systems and point-of-sale technology.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and composure under pressure.
• Sound understanding of health, safety and security procedures.
• High level of attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
• Current RSA, RCG & ARCG required.
• Hospitality qualifications or formal training is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all front-of-house and back-of-house staff during assigned shifts, ensuring efficient service delivery.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the hotel, including public areas and facilities.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures and health and safety regulations.
• Manage shift administration including timekeeping and incident reporting.
• Perform cash handling and reconciliation of accounts as required.
• Lead by example, demonstrating excellent customer service and maintaining professional standards.
• Liaise with management regarding operational issues, staffing concerns and maintenance requirements.
