Job summary

GREG WHEELER CONTRACTING PTY LTD in Perth is seeking an experienced Hotel Service Manager to supervise and coordinate hotel service operations, including front-office and housekeeping, ensuring exceptional guest service throughout the property.

You will lead staff, manage rosters, handle reservations and guest arrivals, and work with hotel management to maintain smooth daily operations while upholding safety, privacy and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Hospitality/Hotel Management or 3+ years relevant experience.
• Experience supervising hotel services or front-office operations.
• Ability to allocate duties, coordinate rosters and support hotel service staff.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with hotel PMS and online booking platforms.

Responsibilities

• Supervise front-office, reception, housekeeping and hotel service staff.
• Determine daily staffing and maintain rosters.
• Coordinate reservations, guest arrivals and departures, room allocations and room readiness.
• Liaise with hotel management and service teams for smooth shift handovers.
• Monitor service standards, inspect completed work and recommend improvements.
• Provide staff guidance and training, monitor performance and assist with workplace concerns.
• Handle guest enquiries and complaints professionally and arrange appropriate solutions.
• Oversee guest payments, cash handling, deposits, refunds and daily transaction records.
• Prepare operational reports covering guest services, housekeeping, bookings and shift activities.
• Explain and enforce workplace safety procedures, security requirements and guest privacy standards.
