Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Hospitality/Hotel Management or 3+ years relevant experience.
• Experience supervising hotel services or front-office operations.
• Ability to allocate duties, coordinate rosters and support hotel service staff.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with hotel PMS and online booking platforms.

Responsibilities

• Supervise front-office, reception, housekeeping and hotel service staff.

• Liaise with hotel management and service teams for smooth shift handovers.
• Monitor service standards, inspect completed work and recommend improvements.

• Handle guest enquiries and complaints professionally and arrange appropriate solutions.
• Oversee guest payments, cash handling, deposits, refunds and daily transaction records.
• Prepare operational reports covering guest services, housekeeping, bookings and shift activities.
• Explain and enforce workplace safety procedures, security requirements and guest privacy standards.

• Determine daily staffing requirements, allocate duties and maintain staff rosters and attendance records.
• Coordinate reservations, guest arrivals and departures, room allocations and room readiness.
• Liaise with hotel management and service teams to ensure smooth communication and effective shift handovers.

• Experience allocating duties, coordinating rosters and supporting hotel service staff.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with hotel property management systems, reservations software and online booking platforms.
• Sound cash-handling, recordkeeping and reporting skills.
• Ability to resolve guest complaints and respond calmly to operational challenges.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety, guest privacy and security procedures.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Availability to work rostered shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
