Job summary

Crowne Plaza Adelaide Mawson Lakes is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee Front Office, Housekeeping and broader hotel operations. You will lead day-to-day activities, support service delivery, and ensure a cohesive guest experience across departments.

You will drive revenue, manage rostering and payroll, uphold brand standards, and collaborate withHR on talent and training initiatives. This is a hands-on leadership role within a premium hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Degree or higher in Hotel Management or related field, or 4+ years’ management experience across Front Office and Housekeeping.
• Strong understanding of revenue management, budget control, rostering and payroll, including knowledge of the Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2020.
• Comprehension of hotel systems and revenue management principles.
• Excellent project management skills with ability to work independently and across functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead Hotel Operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Kitchen and Engineering to ensure operational excellence.
• Drive Guest Experience by overseeing VIP and loyalty guests and addressing feedback.
• Analyse performance metrics and drive revenue through occupancy, rate and promotions.
• Ensure Safety & Compliance, HACCP, WHS, and security procedures.
• Lead People & Culture through recruitment, onboarding, training and team development.
• Monitor labour, payroll, purchasing and departmental expenses, and uphold financial controls.
