Job summary

AustraliaVisas in Melbourne seeks an experienced Hotel IT Manager to plan, deliver and support technology across the property, including PMS, booking engines, Wi‑Fi, networks, POS and security.

You will lead IT operations, manage vendors and budgets, ensure PCI DSS compliance and provide on‑call support to guest services and operations. This role is based in the vibrant St Kilda area with visa sponsorship available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong knowledge of networking, Wi‑Fi, Windows and cloud environments (e.g. MS 365, Azure) and endpoint management.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT infrastructure across property (networks, servers, cloud, end‑user devices).
• Oversee PMS, booking engine, channel manager, and POS platforms; work with vendors to resolve issues and upgrades.
• Ensure reliable guest Wi‑Fi and in‑room technology; provide helpdesk support.
• Develop and enforce IT security policies, backups, patching, and disaster recovery.
• Ensure PCI DSS compliance for payment card data; manage licenses and contracts.
