Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and transport up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Enhance customer experience by maintaining a clean and orderly facility to the defined standards within the specified timelines, exceeding guests’ expectations.
• Deliver quality service that meets guests’ needs.
• Work in a clean, sanitary, safe, and organized manner, abiding by all health and safety regulations.
• Maintain a professional appearance and act as a role model according to the grooming and appearance policy.
• Stay informed on department and property knowledge and promotions.
• Clean hotel rooms, hallways, linen rooms, and employee and storage areas in the hotel, as directed.
• Maintain and clean all equipment used during the shift, as directed.
• Maintain proper documentation of all duties accomplished during the shift, as directed.
• Report all safety hazards or maintenance deficiencies for timely handling and comply with all security measures.
• Greet all guests with a proper salutation and pleasant expression.
• Assist guests with issues within authority to ensure satisfaction while operating within established guidelines and policies.
• Perform all duties in a quiet and orderly manner.
• Assist with department projects as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Previous casino/hotel industry experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Six (6) months of previous cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to clean as directed at an acceptable performance rate.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Must be able to operate equipment, including but not limited to vacuum cleaners, cleaning supplies, mops, and brooms.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and transport up to 40 pounds.
