Job summary

Mandala Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Part Time Hotel All Rounder for Hoteloco, a boutique 39-room property in Alexandria, Sydney. The role focuses on housekeeping with support across front office reception to ensure a warm, efficient guest experience.

Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms, maintaining public areas, handling guest inquiries, assisting with check-ins/outs, and working across departments in a small team. Prior housekeeping is essential and RMS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

We are currently seeking a Part Time Hotel All Rounder to join the team at Hoteloco, our boutique 39-room accommodation-only property located on Garden Street, Alexandria. Opened in November 2024, Hoteloco offers a modern and welcoming stay experience in the heart of Sydney.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day, with a primary focus on Housekeeping and support across Front Office Reception.

About the Role

As our next team member, you will:

• Service and clean guest rooms to a high standard (housekeeping experience essential)
• Ensure public areas are presented immaculately
• Assist with guest enquiries both face to face and over the phone
• Support front office operations including check-ins, check-outs, reservations and guest accounts
• Provide friendly and professional guest service at all times
• Assist guests throughout their stay, from arrival to departure
• Multitask across departments in a small team environment
• Be willing to go the extra mile to create a positive guest experience

This is a hands‑on role suited to someone comfortable working across multiple departments in a boutique property.

What We Are Looking For

• Previous housekeeping experience (essential)
• Front office or reception experience (desired but not essential)
• Prior experience in hospitality and/or customer service
• Experience using RMS is an advantage (training provided)
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• A reliable and proactive team player
• Comfortable working in a small team environment
• A friendly personality with strong communication skills
• Flexibility to work across a seven‑day roster, including weekends
