Job summary

Daikin Australia is seeking an Account Manager - Hot Water in Victoria to launch and grow our hot water business. You will build a specialist partner network, drive revenue and establish Daikin as a premier brand in hot water systems.

Reporting to the State Manager VIC Sales, you will manage relationships with hot water specialists, plumbers and builders, negotiate pricing within governance, and translate plumbing knowledge into technical sales discussions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in hot water, plumbing or related building products.
• Proven success in sales or key account management within wholesale/ distribution spaces.
• Strong understanding of domestic plumbing practices and relevant Australian standards.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and manage relationships with hot water specialists, plumbers, contractors and builders across VIC to hit sales targets.
• Drive sales growth using internal analytics and negotiate win‑win outcomes within pricing and credit frameworks.
• Advocate Daikin hot water products at events, rollouts and customer forums, both technically and commercially.
• Interpret plumbing layouts and drawings to guide product selection and ensure compliance.
• Oversee project quoting and ordering while monitoring market trends and competitor movements.
