The Star Sydney is seeking a Stewarding team member to maintain the Food & Beverage spaces across kitchens, bars and restaurants. This role is physically demanding with tight time constraints and rewards a high level of attention to detail.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the Culinary team to keep equipment clean and stocked, operating dishwashers, and upholding hygiene standards while contributing to a positive guest experience.

Qualifikationen

• Flexible availability across a 7-day roster.
• Previous experience in kitchen cleaning or heavy manual labour (highly desired).
• Good communication skills, with a positive and professional attitude.
• Ability to work both solo and as part of large team.
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods (desirable).

Aufgaben

• Working closely with the Culinary team to ensure all restaurant equipment is cleaned and restocked for every service.
• Cleaning equipment through dishwasher, hot wash, and recycling of materials.
• Ensuring cleaning checklists completed and hygiene standards are maintained.
• Maintain overall cleanliness and organisation of Food & Beverage venues.
