Job summary

The Star Sydney is seeking a dedicated Stewarding team member to maintain cleanliness across our food and beverage spaces, kitchens, bars and restaurants. This physically demanding role rewards attention to detail and team collaboration, with a strong focus on health and hygiene.

You will work closely with Culinary, manage dishwashing, ensure checklists, and keep venues orderly. Flexible 7-day roster and opportunities to grow within our dynamic hospitality group are available.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability across a 7-day roster.
• Previous experience in kitchen cleaning or heavy manual labour.
• Good communication skills with a positive and professional attitude.
• Ability to work both solo and as part of a large team.
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with the Culinary team to ensure all restaurant equipment is cleaned and restocked ready for every service.
• Cleaning equipment through dishwasher, hot wash, and recycling of materials.
• Ensuring cleaning checklists completed and hygiene standards are maintained.
• Maintain overall cleanliness and organisation of Food and Beverage venues.
