Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous experience in stewarding is preferred.
• Valid working rights in Australia.
• Flexibility to work rotating roster (mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays) Monday to Sunday.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently.
• Basic understanding of food safety principles (or willingness to learn).

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment using industrial dishwashing machinery or by hand
• Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, sinks, and floors
• Dispose of waste properly and empty bins regularly
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP standards)
• Assist kitchen staff by organizing plates and utensils
• Handle and store cleaning chemicals safely in accordance with WHS procedures
• Restock cleaning supplies and kitchen essentials as needed
