Job summary

The Star Sydney is seeking a Food & Beverage Attendant to join our casual dining venues. You will deliver exceptional service, take orders, and ensure memorable guest experiences across multiple outlets including Food Quarter, Fat Noodle, Harvest Buffet and G&Tea.

We offer a competitive hourly rate with penalty rates for weekends and public holidays, on-site meals, staff uniforms, and extensive career development through The Star Academy.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced restaurant with sound knowledge of food and beverage.
• Passion for delivering outstanding service and a memorable guest experience.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible availability to meet venue operating hours.
• Current NSW RSA card (or interim certificate).

Responsibilities

• Take orders accurately and efficiently, and deliver food and beverages in a timely manner.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the venue’s menu and current promotions including ingredients and preparation methods.
• Anticipate guests needs to understand their preferences to provide personalised service and recommendations.
• Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies and dietary needs to the kitchen.
• Collaborate with your team to provide efficient and seamless service.
• Assist with opening and closing duties as required, including setting up and breaking down of the dining area.
