Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in Adelaide seeks an experienced F&B Operations Manager to lead guest experience and ensure service excellence across all outlets. You will manage staffing, budgets and compliance while delivering high standards of food, beverage and hospitality.

As a key leader, you will develop trainers, coach team members, and drive engagement to achieve HeartBeat and Winning Metrics. A strong focus on safety, HACCP, WHS and event support is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an F&B management role, preferably within a hotel environment.
• Current RSA and Food Safety certification required.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to lead teams to achieve results.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prompt, courteous and personalised service to guests, including responding to requests and complaints.
• Maintain F&B outlets, facilities and equipment to required cleanliness, presentation and operational standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and achieve HeartBeat and Winning Metrics goals.
• Drive team performance in Guest Love, Problem Handling and other service measures.
• Develop departmental trainers and team leaders to strengthen service capability.
• Ensure consistent F&B service across all guest touchpoints and benchmark standards.
• Partner with the Commercial team to plan events and ensure appropriate staffing and resources.
• Monitor IHG quality, metric and audit requirements, including Quality Evaluation & Measurement
• Report maintenance and repair requirements promptly and follow required systems and procedures.
