Job summary

Accor in Sydney is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive corporate, leisure, group and events sales. You will identify opportunities, build relationships with clients, and lead negotiations to grow occupancy and revenue.

You will work with the Director of Sales and Marketing to implement commercial strategies and expand our presence in the hospitality market across Australia. The role is based in Sydney with a strong emphasis on relationship-building and results.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, hotel sales or a similar commercial role.
• Strong understanding of the hospitality and hotel market.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities across corporate, leisure, group and events segments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, corporate partners, agencies and local businesses.
• Conduct client visits, sales calls, presentations, site inspections and networking activities.
• Manage and grow existing accounts while actively seeking new business opportunities.
• Contribute to achieving and exceeding revenue, occupancy and business development targets.
